This game both highlights choices and helps us to know each other better. Choices can be simple - carrots or broccoli? - tag or hide and seek?
Choices can be silly - spaghetti sauce on your ice cream or ice cream on your spaghetti?
Choices can make us think - sit with someone who is all alone or keep playing with my friends? - ask for help with math or try to figure it out yourself?
These questions can provide an opportunity for conversation on the how and why we think the things we do!

Dinner Time: Being Honest
Below is a prayer with which to start your meal and then discussion questions to explore this week’s topic with your family while you eat.
Prayer-
Lord Jesus, you have taught us that being honest is a way to draw closer to each other and to You. Help us to be kind and clear in how we speak to each other. Help us to be respectful in the classroom and at home. Support us as we shine our lights to reveal your beauty; not just in the world, but also in our hearts.

Questions 5-10 years old
1. What do you think it means to be honest?
2. What do you think it means to be dishonest?
3. Are they opposites or do they mean different things?
4. What does it mean to be faithful?
5. How does Jesus help us to know how to be faithful and honest?
Bedtime: Reflections for Children at the End of the Day
During your bedtime routine, invite your children into a time of reflection about their day, maybe by saying, "Did you know that God really wants to know what happened in your day today, and that God is always listening whenever you need to tell God something?" Then continue with these questions:
1) What are some things that happened today that you want to tell God about?
2) What is one happy thing that happened today? What is one sad thing that happened today?
3) Did you see God or feel God with you when those things were happening? Where did you see or feel God when those things happened today?
4) Read to your children this week’s scripture selection, then ask the questions that follows.
Luke 16: 1-13 (from God’s Word, My Voice)
Jesus told his disciples this story:
There was a rich man who learned that his manager was not handling his property honestly. So he hauled him in, and said, “I don’t like what I’m hearing about you. I want an investigation of what you’ve been doing. You can’t be my manager anymore.” The manager said to himself, “What am I going to do without this job? I’m not strong enough for construction work, but I’m too proud to beg. I know -- I’ll sweet-talk the people who owe my master money, so that after I’m fired, they’ll give me work.” So, that’s what he did. And his master applauded the manager even though he was dishonest, because he was crafty. We don’t need to be dishonest, but we need to be at least as creative as the dishonest people are.
If you are honest with little things, you’ll be honest in big things. Just like faith. If you are faithful with what belongs to someone else, perhaps you will be faithful with your own. Nobody can serve two masters. You’ll hate one or the other. It’s like that with God and wealth -- you’ve got to choose between them, which one you’re going to build your life around.
