In this week's gospel we hear Jesus say to his disciples that "foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head." In pointing out how hard it can be to find a home in the world he also highlights just how many different kinds of homes there are. As he says, foxes live in holes and birds live in nests, but there are hundreds of other homes out there, too. This week, take some time as a family to walk your neighborhood or go to a local park and try to find as many homes as you can for as many creatures as you can. And make sure to get creative! When you're done share with each other something you noticed on your search or something that you learned.
