This week we hear the story of Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James, Joanna, and other women who followed Jesus going to the tomb on the third day after Jesus died and finding it empty. By the end of the story none of them are sure where exactly Jesus is, since he never makes an appearance on that Sunday morning. What a crazy surprise! This week think of something you could do for someone, either for another member of your family or someone outside your family, that would be completely unexpected. Maybe make them a gift, buy them a coffee, or write them a note and drop it off at their house early in the morning. Give them a chance to feel the joyful, early-morning surprise of Easter.
