In this week's gospel we here another story about the resurrected Jesus appearing to his disciples. What's different about this one is that Jesus surprises his disciples with breakfast on the beach! One of the things that was always true in Jesus' ministry was that he went out of his way to eat with people, lots of people, and often people who no one else wanted to eat with. This week, let's make a surprise breakfast for someone! Think of someone in your life that is having a hard time, or could use a fun breakfast surprise. Either make breakfast to go at your house or pick something up at your favorite breakfast place and surprise this person with meal (thought you could tell them you're coming if you think it would help!). When your meal is done, take some time later on that day to check in with each other about the experience. What is magical about sharing a meal?
